BU Lands Six on All-HAAC Team

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University women's soccer team landed six Wildcats on the 2012 Heart of America Athletic Conference All-Conference team, announced this week.

Baker had three First-Team recipients, one Second-Team and two Third-Team winners. For the second-straight season sophomore Shelby Schiraldi was named to the First-Team after helping Baker to a 12-6-1 record and third-place finish in the HAAC standings.

Schiraldi was named the HAAC Defensive Player of the Week twice this season and helped the Wildcats record five-shutout wins.

Dolbin was also named to the First-Team All-HAAC a year ago. She is the team leader in total points with 36 and leads the conference in assists with 12. Dolbin has also scored 12 goals this season and has taken a team high 115 shots.

Corley is the third leading scorer for Baker with nine goals and has taken 34 shots with 22 on goal.

Midfielder Alexa Fryer was the lone Wildcat named to the HAAC Second-Team, she is the team leader in goals scored in 2012 with 15.

Goalkeeper Rachel Theobald and Lesley Johnson represent Baker on the Third-Team All-Conference. Theobald has played and started in all 19 of Baker's games this year and has recorded 81 saves. Johnson played and started in 14 games this season for Baker at defender.
