Baker currently stands at 2-2-1 on the year, while CUI now stands at 1-0-2. The Wildcats will next take on NCAA Division II McKendree University this Sunday, Sept. 8 at noon in Lebanon, Ill.
Concordia struck first in the 14th minute with a quick goal by Elizabeth Abt who sped past the Baker defense to put CUI up, 1-0.
The match went the rest of the half scoreless and the Wildcats only took two shots the entire half.
But then, in the 54th minute, Shelby Schiraldi sent a perfect pass over the CUI defense and found Hilary Yoder waiting for her right in the box and the senior then blasted the ball past keeper Jasmin Alvarez to tie it up.
But both teams went scoreless the final 36 minutes and the final two overtimes to end in a 1-1 tie.
Baker finished with just four shots on the night and allowed 10 to the Eagles and Rachel Theobald finished with three saves.
Ashley Mauck, Alexa Fryer and Allison Haddad took the other three shots for the Wildcats.
