MARSHALL, Mo. – The Baker University women's soccer team rolled past Central Methodist, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon to move up the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings.

With the win, Baker sits tied for fourth-place with rival MidAmerica Nazarene in the HAAC standings with its 3-2-2 conference mark.

With a fourth-place finish in the final standings the Wildcats would host a first round HAAC playoff match against the No. 5 seed. Once the official final standings are announced the seeds will become finalized.

Baker had goals from three different Wildcats, as Keeley Atkin opened the game up with a goal in the 13th minute from six yards out and then Baker registered a team goal in the 22nd minute on a deflection off of a free kick from about 12 yards out.

Shalynn Eldridge-McMillan put the Wildcats up 3-0 in the 29th minute on a goal past keeper Brittany Andert with the assist going to Ashley Mauck.

Mauck was also part of the fourth goal of the game with an assist on Gabrielle Betsch's goal in the 58th minute.

Goalkeeper Rachel Theobald picked up her seventh shutout of the season and second straight. This is the second time this season Baker has won a game, 4-0, as they defeated McPherson College, 4-0, back on Sept. 19.

The Wildcats regular season has come to an end, check back in with later this week as the HAAC Playoff bracket will be announced and we will see what seed the Wildcats come out with.
