No. 19 Baker women fall to No. 18 Hastings
HASTINGS, Neb. – The Baker University women’s soccer team fell to Hastings College 4-2 on Tuesday evening.
The Broncos (12-2-1) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and never trailed from that point forward. Maddie Michalek scored just two minutes into the contest for the Broncos, before Esmeralda Lacayo added another goal in the 18th minute.
Baker (8-3-1) responded quickly after going down two goals, as Jordan Dolbin knocked in a free kick just 37 seconds later.

No. 19 Wildcats record first draw against Avila
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker women’s soccer team tied Avila University 2-2 on Saturday evening, their first draw of the 2011 campaign.
Cara Duke put the Eagles on the board first with a goal in the 17th minute as she struck on a wide-open net.
Alix Schiraldi scored her team leading tenth goal of the season in the 31st minute from 30-yards out to tie the game at 1-1.
Cara Duke notched her second goal of the game in the 62nd minute to give Avila the advantage, but Baker would respond late as Amber Pickering scored the equalizer in the 87th minute from 25-yards out.

No. 19 Baker women blast MidAmerica Nazarene 5-0
OLATHE, Kan. – Three first half goals sparked BU’s commanding 5-0 victory over MidAmerica Nazarene Univerisity Tuesday afternoon.
Alix Schiraldi and Jordan Dolbin scored back-to-back goals in the 19th and 20th minute, before Ashley Mauck added another score in the 27th minute.
MNU’s Kinsey Chavez had a ball deflect off of her in the 57th minute into the Pioneers (5-7-1, 1-2 HAAC) own goal to give BU a 4-0 lead. Skylar Baker added the final goal for the Wildcats in the 61st minute.

Dolbin leads No. 19 Baker past Graceland 3-2
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Jordan Dolbin stole the show on Saturday evening as the Wildcats defeated Graceland University 3-2.
Dolbin put the Wildcats on the scoreboard first with a goal in the 17th minute on a from 22-yards out past goalkeeper Stefany Castano.
Graceland answered in the 41st minute on a goal by Karina Vega.
Ashley Ukena put the Wildcats back in front in the 52nd minute after Alexa Fryer’s tie-up with the Graceland keeper caused the ball to deflect out to Ukena.

No. 12 Baker women cruise past Oklahoma Wesleyan 3-0
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The 12th ranked Baker women’s soccer team improved to 6-1 on the year Tuesday evening defeating Oklahoma Wesleyan University, 3-0.
Bailey Sosa put the Wildcats on the board first with a goal in the 42nd minute courtesy of a great ball into the box from Alix Schiraldi. Baker took a 1-0 lead into halftime and never looked back.
Alix Schiraldi gave BU its second goal just four minutes out of the break on a ball from Ashley Ukena. Alexa Fryer added a goal 10 minutes later as Baker cruised to the 3-0 victory.

No. 14 Baker cruises past Ottawa 3-1
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The game itself was never really in question as the 14th ranked Baker women improved to 5-1 on Sunday evening at Liston Stadium.
Alix Schiraldi put the Wildcats on the scoreboard first with a header on a corner kick from Jordan Dolbin at 10:55.
Bre Hoener would add another goal at 34:02 on a blast from 30-yards out past a diving Lauren Peli, who was pulled immediately after.

Schiraldi’s early goals lift No. 14 Baker past Oklahoma Baptist
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Senior Alix Schiraldi scored two early goals as the Baker women’s soccer team cruised to victory over Oklahoma Baptist University 4-1 on Friday afternoon.
Courtney Anderson scored the lone goal for OBU in the 26th minute, but Jordan Dolbin and Kayla Infante answered with goals for the Wildcats in the 56th and 83rd minute respectively.
Baker goalkeeper Rachel Theobald made three saves in the contest.

No. 16 Wildcats escape past John Brown 4-3
SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – The Baker women’s soccer team jumped out to an early lead on Friday afternoon thanks to Alexa Fryer’s two early goals.
The Wildcats held JBU scoreless and allowed just three shots until the final eight seconds of the first half when Adrienne Kennedy scored a key goal heading into the break.
