No. 16 Wildcats escape past John Brown 4-3

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – The Baker women’s soccer team jumped out to an early lead on Friday afternoon thanks to Alexa Fryer’s two early goals.
The Wildcats held JBU scoreless and allowed just three shots until the final eight seconds of the first half when Adrienne Kennedy scored a key goal heading into the break.

Schiraldi lifts Baker past Park in OT

PARKVILLE, Mo. - Park University jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on Friday night, but thanks to a big second half, the Wildcats were able to prevail in overtime by a score of 4-3.
Alix Schiraldi scored two key goals late. Trailing 3-2, Schiraldi evened the score in the 86th minute before going on to win the game with a second goal in the 98th minute. Alexa Fryer and Jordan Dolbin also added goals in the contest.

No. 5 Baker women drop season opener to Westminster

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Margo Hickman went one-on-one with Maggie Dupes in the 108th minute of play and netted the game-winning goal to spurn a 2-1 upset over No. 5 Baker on Friday afternoon.
The game was scoreless heading into halftime as both squads played nearly head-to-head in every statistical category. Both teams finished the game with eight shots on goal apiece. Margo Hickman led Westminster with four shots on goal, while Jordan Dolbin led the Wildcats with three.

Women’s soccer ranked No. 5 in Preseason Top 25 Coaches‘ Poll

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Coming off its first appearance in the NAIA semifinals, the Baker women’s soccer team will enter the season ranked No. 1 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and No. 5 in the nation as announced by the NAIA national office on Tuesday afternoon.
“It’s the first time we’ve ever come into the season as the favorite,” Wildcat head coach Nate Houser said. “We have a strong returning cast. We’re really excited to see some of these seniors lead our team.”

Wildcats advance to NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship Quaterfinals with 2-0 over No. 5 Martin Methodist

The Wildcats and Cardinals will face each other on Thursday morning at 9 a.m., from the Jack Allen Soccer Complex
Due to poor playing conditions, the NAIA event staff has announced that all games scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 1 will be moved to Thursday, Dec. 2. The semifinal rounds will still go according to schedule on Friday, with the National Championship game to follow on Saturday evening.
