BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Back-to-back appearances in the NAIA quarterfinals, including a semifinal appearance in 2010, has the 2012 version of the Baker University women’s soccer team upbeat about the prospects of the upcoming season as they prepare to host No. 9 ranked Westmont College (Calif.) this Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 1 p.m. at Liston Stadium to open the season.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With a 15-3-2 2011 record and an appearance in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship Tournament, the Baker University women’s soccer team earned 465 points and is ranked No. 6 in the 2012 NAIA Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll, announced on Tuesday evening.

Baker soccer program sets school-record with five NAIA All-Americans
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – In a year that saw the Baker women’s soccer team advance to its second consecutive NAIA National quarterfinal and the Baker men’s soccer team advance to its first ever NAIA National semifinal, the teams set another record on Monday afternoon when the NAIA announced that five players from the Wildcat soccer programs had been named NAIA All-Americans.
Seniors Alix Schiraldi (Lenexa, Kan.) and Maggie Dupes (Fallbrook, Calif.), along with junior Jordan Dolbin (La Mirada, Calif.) were all named NAIA All-Americans on the women’s side. Schiraldi and Dolbin were named to the third-team, while Dupes was an honorable mention.

Dolbin, Dupes, Ukena, and White all named NAIA Scholar-Athletes
DECATUR, Ala. – After completing its second consecutive run to the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship Quarterfinals, Baker University placed four student-athletes on the 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete list, which was released on Friday. A total of 485 athletes earned the honor this year.
Junior Jordan Dolbin (La Mirada, Calif.), senior Maggie Dupes (Fallbrook, Calif.), senior Ashley Ukena (Topeka, Kan.), and senior Kylie White (Emporia, Kan.) rounded out this year’s squad for Baker.
