BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University head women's tennis coach Joe Ahmadian announced the signing of Great Bend HS (Great Bend, Kan.) native Morgan Francis to a national letter of intent this week.

Francis will join the Wildcats in the Fall and was a four-time All-Conference performer for the Panthers in her high school career and was named the Conference Player of the Year twice.

"We are very excited to have Morgan join our program at Baker next year," said Ahmadian. "She will not only be a valuable member of the team but a valuable member of the campus as a whole. I have no doubt that Morgan will thrive on and off the court throughout her career at Baker."

Francis also placed fourth at the state tournament in doubles in 2013 and earned the second best singles winning-percentage in school history at .938. She also tallied the best double winning-percentage in Great Bend HS history at .974.
