KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time this season, the Baker University women's cross country team cracked the NAIA Women's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 rankings, coming in at No. 25 this week.

The Wildcats had been just one spot out of the rankings on two separate occasions earlier in the year.

The Wildcats have finished either first or second as a team in four of its five meets this season.

Baker took first in its host Maple Leaf Invitational on Aug. 31 and took first at the Emporia State Invite back on Sept. 27.

They finished second in the UCM Mule Run and second in the College Division run at the Missouri Southern Stampeded.

At last week's NAIA Pre-Nationals meet in Lawrence, Kan., the 'Cats took home 10th-place against some of the NAIA finest teams.
