BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University head wrestling coach Pete Di Pol added another wrestler to his 2014-15 squad, this time from his hometown state of New Jersey.

Di Pol announced the signing of Matt Sausman of Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill, N.J. to a national letter of intent this week.

Sausman had a high school record of 122-19 and was a three-time New Jersey state place winner, finishing third, eighth and third respectively.

He was a four-time region finalist and two-time regional champion and comes to Baker after competing one year at NCAA Division I Rider University.

"We are really excited to have Matty become a future Wildcat," said Di Pol. "He brings a strong desire to win and to compete at the highest level.

"I had the opportunity to coach him his freshman year in high school and he was a young talent then. During his last three years of high school I had the unfortunate task of coaching against him and seeing him become one of the states best. We are real lucky to have him."
