Baker University to host first ever wrestling competition

In Baker University's 152-year history, 2009 marks the beginning of the wrestling program. On Saturday, Nov. 7, the Wildcat wrestling program will take to the mat for the first time as they compete against York College.

This event will be held at Baldwin City Junior High School. It is our hope to pack the gymnasium with Baker and Kansas wrestling fans wearing orange to help cheer us onto our first wrestling victory.

Also, on Sunday, Nov. 8, Baker will host the inaugural Dan Harris Wildcat Open at 9 a.m. in the George F. Collins Center on the campus of Baker University.
