“My immediate goal was to recruit kids that were excellent student-athletes, the type of kids who could excel both in the classroom and on the mat,” said head coach Jimmy May.
The incoming class represents nine different states: Kansas, Indiana, Nevada, Louisiana, Colorado, California, Missouri Oklahoma and Texas.
Baker strives to improve heading into second season of competition.
“Ultimately our goal is to get to the point where we’re constantly in the national spotlight,” May said. “If you want to excel in this sport, you’ve got to dedicate yourself to it and make it a part of your life."
