BU Begins 2012 with Highest Ranking

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University wrestling team received its highest ever ranking in the four year history of the program on Wednesday in the NAIA Wrestling Coaches’ Preseason Top 20 Poll.

Baker finished last season ranked No. 9 in the Final Poll of the 2012-13 season.

“We are very honored to receive the ranking and our kids have worked hard for it,” said head coach Jimmy May. “However, we know we still have a lot of work to do.”

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the Qualifying Groups.
