Jarid Price went 3-0 and defeated three nationally ranked 184 pound wrestlers over the weekend
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Senior 184 pound wrestler Jarid Price earned this week's Heart of America Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week award after posting a perfect 3-0 record at the NWCA National Duals in Springfield, Ill., over the weekend.
A native of Las Vegas, Nev., Price started off the competition with a pin over top-ranked Brian Block of Morningside (Iowa).
He then claimed a 9-2 victory over third-ranked Thomas Buckman of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) before finishing off the meet on Saturday with a pin of No. 12 ranked Jacob Abrams from Southern Oregon.
The Wildcats will next compete on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Missouri Valley Invitational in Marshall, Mo.
