Gebhardt Earns Second HAAC Award

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – For the second time this season, Baker University senior 285-pound wrestler Brandon Gebhardt earned the Heart of America Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week award.

Gebhardt is the No. 1 ranked heavyweight in the NAIA and is 26-3 on the season with his only losses coming against NCAA Division I opponents, including the current top ranked heavyweight in the country, University of Missouri's Dom Bradley.

This past week, Gebhardt defeated two NAIA ranked heavyweights at the Missouri Valley College Invitational with a win over No. 14 Stanley Lattimore of Oklahoma City University and win over No. 6 ranked Daniel Mueller of Missouri Valley.

He is currently riding a 10-match winning streak and has defeated five NAIA Top 10 ranked wrestlers.
