Baker also had eight wrestlers nationally ranked in the NAIA Individual Top 16 weight class rankings, the most in the four-year history of the program.
Alan Calahan joined the national rankings this week after being unranked in the last poll, coming in ranked No. 12 in the 125-pound class, Blake Pursel did the same joining the list after being unranked in the previous poll, earning the No. 12 spot in the 133-pound division.
Joel Olivas came in ranked No. 13 in the 141-pound weight class, and Nick Haugen is ranked No. 9 this week in the 149-pound category.
Also ranked this week for Baker is Nathan Sommer, who comes in at No. 8 in the 165-pound division. Parker Owen snuck in the Top 16 spots in the 174-pound class, coming in at No. 16 and reigning NAIA Wrestler of the Week, Jarid Price, is now ranked No. 15 in the country in the 184-pound division.
And last but not least, Brandon Gebhardt still holds the No. 1 spot in the 285-pound class for the third straight week.
Baker will look to defend its Kansas Cup championship this weekend as they take on the finest collegiate wrestlers the state has to offer in Wichita, Kan., this Sunday, Jan. 27. Baker won last seasons Kansas Cup and would like to recapture the Cup and keep it stored in the Hall of Fame rotunda in the Collins Center.

Lofstedt (125 pounds), Brock Gutches (174 pounds) of Southern Oregon and Montana State-Northern's Ethan Hinebauch (165 pounds) have been ranked atop their respective weight class in all six polls this season ...
