Baker hosted Bethany College last Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Collins Center in a dual and defeated the Swedes handily, 24-9. Baker will now prepare for the NAIA Central Regionals in which they will host on Saturday, Feb. 16.
The Wildcats also have seven wrestlers nationally ranked in their respective classes including No. 1 ranked heavyweight Brandon Gebhardt.
Also ranked for Baker is 125-pound wrestler Alan Calahan who comes in ranked No. 15 this week, also ranked is 141-pound wrestler Joel Olivas, he comes in ranked No. 13 in the country.
Nick Haugen moved up three spots and is ranked sixth in the 149-pound class and teammate Nathan Sommer is now ranked No. 9 in the NAIA in the 165-pound division. Parker Owen is the No. 16 ranked wrestler in the 174-pound weight class and Jarid Price is now the No. 14 ranked 184-pound wrestler in the country this week.

No. 4 Montana State-Northern is the only other school with at least 50-straight appearances (53) ... Southern Oregon's Mitchell Lofstedt has been ranked No. 1 at 125 pounds for 16-straight polls ... Lofstedt (125 pounds), Brock Gutches (174 pounds) of Southern Oregon and Montana State-Northern's Ethan Hinebauch (165 pounds) have been ranked atop their respective weight class in all seven polls this season ...
