He defeated Drake Martel of Northeastern Oklahoma 6-2 and then defeated Colton Johnson of Nebraska-Kearney by a 5-4 decision. He ended his day due to injury in the semifinals against Joseph Baucke of Air Force who eventually won the 157-pound title.
John Hambleton had an impressive 2-0 victory over Nebraska-Kearney's Mark Fiala in the 184-pount category and Connor Middleton had a 6-0 decision win over Wentworth's Alex Davis-Carter in the 149-pound class.
