BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – After posting two NAIA All-Americans and a national champion, the Baker University wrestling team ended the 2014 season ranked No. 16 in the NAIA Wrestling Coaches' Final Top 20 poll.

Under first year head coach Pere Di Pol, the Wildcats are in a tie for 16th with Menlo (Calif.) with 26 total team points.

At the NAIA Wrestling national championships in Topeka, Kan., on Mar. 7-8, Baker had two NAIA All-Americans in 133-pound wrestler Bryce Shoemaker and 149-pound wrestler Nick Haugen.

Shoemaker eventually became the first-ever NAIA wrestling national champion for Baker, as he rolled through the 133-pound bracket for the national title.
