Summer Student Meet & Greet
Incoming students get a head start on fostering relationships and connecting to a support network by meeting students before classes begin.
New students meet members of Baker's diverse community, hear about diversity programs and events and learn how to get involved.
Monthly Cultural Awareness Celebrations
Celebrate and honor the history and traditions of a different culture each month. Several events are presented during the month and provide an opportunity for fellowship, learning and appreciation.
This celebration pays homage to those who have fought for justice and equality. The vigil features poetry and presentations by students and recognition of students within the Mungano organization and culminates with a candle-lit walk across campus while singing songs from the civil rights era.
During this monthly lunch event, participants discuss issues, events and concerns regarding diversity on campus and around the world.
