Gessner Hall
Rooms in Gessner Hall are arranged in suites. Two rooms with a connecting bathroom house four people. If you have questions about what to bring and what the halls have, the links on the left will assist you. Meet the Gessner Hall StaffDaniel Davis, senior resident assistant in Gessner Hall, is a junior computer science major with an emphasis in gaming from DeSoto, Kan. He is involved in Band, Jazz Band, BVLLA, Baker U. Gaming Society (BUGS) and Community Choir. He chose Baker because of the small campus. He loves playing video and board games. He knows he will like being an SRA because he can get to know staff and residents. Parker “P-Weezy or Polka” Bryant, resident assistant in Gessner Hall, is a senior working on a sports administration degree with a minor in mass media from Parkville, Mo. He is involved in cross country and track and field and is an Orientation Leader and member of the Food Advisory Board. He chose Baker because of the small campus. He enjoys playing and watching sports, hanging out with friends and eating! He looks forward to meeting the residents in Gessner and making new connections that will last a lifetime. Jacob Neiman, resident assistant in Gessner Hall, is a sophomore music education major from Topeka, Kan. He is involved in the National Association for Music Educators, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Symphonic Band. He chose Baker because he liked the campus size and was impressed by the music department. He likes to play the tuba and read. He knows he will like being an RA because of all the people he gets to meet. Clarence “Big Body Scotte” Scott, resident assistant in Gessner Hall, is a senior mass media major from St. Petersburg, Fla. He is a manager for the football and basketball teams. He chose Baker because it allows him to focus on classwork. He enjoys hunting, shopping and fishing. He knows he will like being an RA because he will be making new friends and setting a good example for his residents. Devario Jerome “Rome” Washington, resident assistant in Gessner, is a sophomore exercise science major from Greenville, S.C. He is involved in Mungano and Speech Choir and is a member of the football team. He enjoys reading, landscaping and working out. He chose Baker because he wanted to attend a university outside of South Carolina and BU was a good fit. He knows he will like being an RA because he likes the idea of the responsibility it entails and being able to create a fun living environment for his residents. |
