Meet the Gessner Hall Staff

Daniel-DavisDaniel Davis, is a senior computer science major from Desoto, Kan. He participates in band, computer science club and the BU Gaming Society, and he chose Baker because he had friends who had gone here ahead of him. His hobbies include video games and watching movies, and he loves being an SRA because he likes hanging out with new people every year.

Gessner-Jacob-NiemanJacob Neiman, is a junior music education major from Topeka and is involved in band, choir and National Association for Music Educators Collegiate. He chose Baker because of the campus, music staff and the inviting visit days he experienced. He loves being an RA because he loves meeting new people every year.

Gessner-Matt-MaumalangaMatt Maumalanga is a sophomore from Wichita, Kan., and is a key member of the Baker football team. He came to Baker because he had heard it was a good school and he got a lot of recommendations. When he isn't too busy with football, Matt enjoys writing poetry, rapping, listening to music and watching Cartoon Network. Matt became an RA because he likes meeting new people and positively impacting the lives of others.

Gessner-Daniel-SumlerDaniel Sumler is a sophomore physical education and health major at Baker. He is from Anderson, Mo., and came to Baker to play football and meet new people. He loves hunting, fishing, Nacho Cheese Doritos, and the color blue. He looks forward to being an RA and making new friends.

 

Gessner-Dustin-TurnerDustin Turner is a junior computer science major from Overbrook, Kan. He participates in BU wrestling, the Big Event, peer tutoring, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Phi Eta Sigma. He chose Baker after falling in love with the close-knit feel of the campus when visiting for wrestling. His hobbies include video games, working on computers, playing sports, reading, working on tractors and being outdoors. As an RA, he's looking forward to networking with new and returning students to make their Baker experience as enjoyable as his has been.
