Baker ServesBaker Serves is a community service organization that serves as a liaison between Baker students and volunteer opportunities. The organization coordinates community service activities. Meetings are held Tuesdays at 9 p.m. in the Harter Union lounge. SWIPE Out HungerIn October, Baker Serves and the Office of Student Life organized SWIPE Out Hunger, in which Baker students, faculty and staff and community members packaged food for 20,000 school meals and for Haitian relief. Sponsored by Numana, Inc., SWIPE Out Hunger is a statewide campus and community event held in recognition of the United Nations World Food Day.
