Most students interested in an allied health care profession major in exercise science. Baker’s exercise science curriculum has long been aligned with and developed along best practices of the American College of Sports Medicine, which produces the most research and the best evidence for the field.

Accreditation: Baker Meets Allied Health Care Standards and Guidelines
Baker’s exercise science program earned accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), making it the first and only fully accredited program in Kansas and one of just 64 in the nation. This recognition means the program meets all educational standards and guidelines established by the allied health care professions.
