Baker CE Partnerships
Baker’s School of Education partners with a variety of organizations to offer courses for Baker University graduate credit.
Anyone who has completed a bachelor’s degree is eligible to enroll in continuing education courses.
Baker’s continuing education programs are designed for educators who seek additional graduate credit to meet state recertification requirements, increase knowledge in a particular subject area, or enhance their earning power.
Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT)

The Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) is a professional association of instructional designers, educators, and professionals focused on leading the global study and application of new technologies for learning.
AECT holds an annual conference for educators. Check back for information about the AECT Conference 2026.
American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA)
The American Orff-Schulwerk Association is a professional organization of educators dedicated to the creative music and movement approach developed by Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman.

Orff-Schulwerk is a creative approach to teaching and learning music through speaking, singing, playing instruments, and moving.
The Baker University campus in Baldwin City, Kansas, is located just 45 minutes from Kansas City and Topeka and 20 minutes from Lawrence, with many recreational opportunities such as swimming, restaurants, historical sites, and parks. Classes meet 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

VESi is committed to developing online education courses for professionals that are convenient, relevant, and affordable—at a pace that fits your schedule.
KNEA members: Purchase an annual subscription to gain access to online graduate courses at a significant savings available only to KNEA members. You’ll be able to take one course each term for a total of three courses per year. Colorado Educators & the READ Act
Colorado school districts are required to ensure all K-3 teachers who provide literacy instruction and 4-12 reading interventionists complete evidence-based training in teaching reading as a result of changes to the Colorado READ Act.
Building a Strong Foundation for Lifelong Literacy Success” by the Public Consulting Group, Inc. (Pepper) is an online asynchronous course. It includes 45 hours of content divided into six modules and satisfies the requirement of the evidence-based training outlined by the Colorado Department of Education READ Act.
