Virtual Alumni Weekend
May 20-22, 2021
Calling all Wildcats! Let’s get together virtually. Although it’s not the same as getting together in person, Virtual Alumni Weekend lets you catch up with friends who wouldn’t be able to travel and get to know people you don’t normally socialize with.
All events take place via Zoom. And all times are CST.
Thursday, May 20
Baker Virtual Trivia Night, 7 p.m.
Get your game face on and get ready to challenge fellow Wildcats to see who knows the most Baker trivia. It’s a free event, and casual Baker attire and a beverage are encouraged.
RSVP online to receive the Zoom link. Then sit back, relax, and be ready to dazzle us with your wealth of Baker knowledge.
Friday, May 21
Baker 50th Reunion in a Box – Class of 1971, 6:30 p.m.
Welcome to your 50th Reunion, Baker University Class of 1971! It’s hard to believe it’s been 50 years. We can’t wait to see your beautiful faces during this Zoom gathering.
What’s a Reunion in a Box? you might ask. Because we want to keep our community safe, we will gather virtually to celebrate you and your classmates and will mail you everything you need to mark this important milestone.
Baker University president, Dr. Lynne Murray, is looking forward to recognizing you and presenting you with your Golden Alumni Medallion. She even has a special toast just for you. So come “home” and virtually join your classmates as we celebrate!
RSVP online so we can send you Zoom instructions and your box.
Saturday, May 22
Alumni Mixology 101, 7 p.m.
Join us for a live virtual alumni gathering with an alum bartender. They will share some cocktail history and offer their spin on two classic cocktails and a mocktail. This twist on a happy hour social should be a lot of fun. Then stick around as we begin the All-Alumni Virtual Reunion at 7:30 p.m.
RSVP online so we can send you Zoom instructions and a list of ingredients for our featured drinks.
All-Alumni Virtual Reunion, 7:30 p.m.
Immediately following the mixology event is a virtual all-alumni gathering. We will place you in a breakout room based on the years you attended Baker. Tell your classmates to join you, and we can set you up in your own breakout room.
Class Giving Program
The Class Giving Program allows you to mark your achievements and affirm your belief in the value of a Baker education. In addition to encouraging your return to campus this May, we hope you will consider making a gift today in honor of your class to support Baker’s current and future students and faculty.
