Alumni Referral Scholarship

Now is the perfect time to recommend a Baker University student. Referred students to the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Professional and Graduate Studies, the School of Education, or the School of Nursing’s BSN or MSN program are eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship in honor of the alum who referred them. Referrals must be received before the student is admitted, and the maximum award per student is $1,000 over the course of their academic program.

Complete this form to begin the process for your referral. Baker employees are not eligible to refer a student. For more information, contact admission@bakerU.edu.

Reverse Legacy Scholarship

The Legacy Scholarship offers $1,000 per year to first-time Baker students who are the parent of a Baker graduate, or of a current student who has completed at least 60 credit hours toward a bachelor's degree—12 of them earned at Baker. The award applies to parents enrolling in the CAS, SPGS undergraduate and graduate programs, the GSOE master's program, and the SON master's  degree program.

At Baker, we believe learning has no age limit and no single path. This scholarship honors the families who make education a shared journey, welcoming parents to pursue their own degrees and continue a legacy of lifelong learning that spans generations.
