You can not enter this program straight from High School.
Students applying to the School of Nursing must have completed 64 hours of prerequisites before entering the two-year nursing program. All program prerequisites must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher on a 4.0 grade point scale, with an overall prerequisite cumulative GPA of at least 2.7. Only required prerequisite courses will be considered in calculating the GPA. Pass/Fail grades will not be accepted unless approved by the Student Affairs Committee.
You can complete the pre-nursing requirements at Baker University's Baldwin City campus. Baker College of Arts and Sciences students receive priority admission to the nursing school.
An essay on what stimulated your interest in nursing and what attributes do you possess that you feel would enhance your career as a nurse is required.
Once you begin your application you will not be able to save. If you do not complete it and return later, you will need to start over from the beginning.
