About Dr. Wagner
Dr. Deanna Wagner brings nearly 20 years of student life and higher education leadership experience to Baker University. As Vice President for Student Affairs, she leads key areas of the student experience, including residence life, wellness, leadership development, inclusion efforts, counseling services, and student success programs.
Before joining Baker, Dr. Wagner served as associate provost and Title IX coordinator at Capital University in Bexley, Ohio, where her work focused on student success, institutional equity, cross-campus collaboration, and operational effectiveness.
Her leadership approach is student-centered, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that student well-being is central to both personal growth and institutional success. At Baker, she works with students, faculty, staff, and university leaders to create a supportive campus environment where students can feel connected, confident, and prepared to thrive.

- Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, University of Dayton
