Dr. Kevin McCarthy is Professor Emeritus of Business & Economics at Baker University. During his faculty career, he taught and mentored students in business, economics, finance, and international business while supporting experiential learning and career preparation.
About Dr. McCarthy
Dr. Kevin McCarthy is Professor Emeritus of Business & Economics in Baker University’s College of Arts & Sciences.
During his tenure at Baker, Dr. McCarthy served as a professor in the Department of Business & Economics and held the George F. Collins Jr. and Loreine Collins Dietrich Chair in Business and Finance. His work supported students pursuing studies in business, economics, finance, and international business.
Dr. McCarthy also contributed to Baker’s emphasis on experiential learning and professional preparation. He was involved in the development of the Baker Organizational Observation for Knowledge program, an initiative designed to help students build workplace experience and distinguish themselves in the job market.
He earned his bachelor’s degree, M.B.A., and Ph.D. from St. Louis University.
