About Dr. Haskins
Dr. Kirk Haskins brings experience in higher education, business, leadership, and public service to his role as Interim Dean of Baker University’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies. Baker’s SPGS has a long history of serving working professionals through flexible, accelerated degree programs and partnerships with businesses and organizations throughout the Kansas City region and beyond.
In 2025, Dr. Haskins was selected as a Fellow in the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development, a prominent leadership training program for emerging legislative leaders from across the Midwest. He also serves as Kansas Representative for the 53rd District, bringing a public-service perspective to his leadership at Baker.
