Role Summary
Dr. Ranee Seastrom serves as Interim Dean of Baker University’s School of Nursing. In this role, she provides academic and operational leadership for nursing programs that prepare students for professional practice, clinical excellence, and continued advancement in health care.

About Dr. Seastrom
Dr. Ranee Seastrom brings experience in nursing education, academic leadership, and clinical practice to her role as Interim Dean of Baker University’s School of Nursing.
Before becoming interim dean, Dr. Seastrom served as Assistant Dean of the Undergraduate Program and Assistant Professor at Baker’s School of Nursing. In these roles, she supported faculty, students, curriculum development, program operations, and the academic preparation of future nurses.
Dr. Seastrom also previously worked as a registered nurse at Stormont Vail Health. Her clinical background and academic leadership experience help connect classroom learning with the realities of professional nursing practice.
As Interim Dean, Dr. Seastrom works closely with faculty, staff, university leadership, and Stormont Vail Health partners to support academic quality, operational continuity, faculty and student success, and the continued development of Baker’s nursing programs.
