About Rena Fuerbringer

Rena Fuerbringer serves as Baker University’s University and Kansas United Methodist Archivist and Museum Director. Her work supports the preservation of materials that document Baker’s academic, social, administrative, and community history, as well as the history of United Methodism and its predecessor denominations in Kansas.

As archivist, Fuerbringer assists researchers, alumni, faculty, staff, students, church historians, and community members with access to archival records, special collections, and historical resources. Her work helps make Baker’s history available for research, teaching, institutional memory, and public understanding.

As Museum Director, Fuerbringer also supports the Old Castle Museum, which preserves and interprets artifacts connected to early Kansas, Methodist, Baker University, and Baldwin City history. Through her role, she helps connect Baker’s historical collections with the university community and the broader public.
