Dr. Tina Hartley serves as Executive Dean of Baker University’s College of Arts and Sciences, where she provides strategic leadership for academic programs, faculty development, curriculum oversight, and student success across the university’s residential undergraduate academic programs. Her expanded role also supports Library Services and the Center for Teaching Learning and Development.

About Dr. Hartley
Dr. Tina Hartley brings more than 35 years of experience as a scholar, educator, mathematics professor, strategic leader, and academic administrator to her role as Executive Dean of Baker University’s College of Arts and Sciences. She provides leadership for academic programs, faculty support, curriculum development, and student success across a broad portfolio of liberal arts and sciences disciplines.
Before joining Baker, Dr. Hartley held leadership roles at the United States Military Academy at West Point, including service as department head. In that role, she oversaw academic operations, faculty and staff development, curriculum planning, budget and resource management, and external partnerships. Her leadership also included work in accreditation, long-term strategic planning, admissions, and major curricular reform initiatives.
As Executive Dean, Dr. Hartley helps guide Baker’s academic vision for the College of Arts and Sciences while supporting innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and programs that prepare students for success in a changing world.
