Master of Science in Special Education

Special education teachers are among the most sought-after professionals in the education field.

Learn to work with K-12 students who have high-incidence learning disabilities, which will make you both highly marketable and highly valuable to school districts. You will be eligible to apply for licensure at the end of the program. Licensure paths include K-6, K-6 with 5-8, and K-12. Teachers who complete the MSSE program are prepared for a license in high-incidence special education.

Master of Science in School Leadership

Master of Science in Instructional Design and Performance Technology

Enter the growing field of online learning and training. The Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts a long-term need for development and training professionals, and our Master of Science in Instructional Design and Performance Technology will prepare you to fill this need.

Our unique program unites instructional design with human performance technology and is perfect if you are responsible for online learning and training—or want to be.

We developed the curriculum with input from company presidents and CEOs, instructional design professionals, performance improvement consultants, project managers, multimedia learning specialists, e-learning developers, software engineers, and scholars in the field.

Master of Science in Higher Education Leadership

Employers in higher education seek job candidates with advanced degrees and professional experience. Our online master’s gives you both. The curriculum focuses on contemporary issues and trends in higher education and skills in leadership, change management, conflict management, policy development, budget and human resource functions, and assessment in student affairs. Classes prepare educators for leadership roles in student involvement, student activities, student programming, and extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Faculty are experienced and knowledgeable about student personnel and are active practitioners in the field. You will gain extensive hands-on work experience in student affairs during two focused field experiences.
