Linking to Library Resources

You are encouraged to incorporate electronic library resources in your Moodle course pages. Not only does this centralize  your course materials, but also eliminates the need for your students to log in (that's right, no library ID  and PIN needed).  Due to our license terms, you are not permitted to upload a version of an electronic library resource (such as a PDF). Instead, instructors are encouraged to provide a link to the resource. Additionally, instructors must follow any legal instructions provided by the vendor or publisher (often noted at the beginning or end of each document).

Below you will find links to images showing where to get a permanent URL to a publication of interest.   You will notice some platforms require you to add a prefix for off campus students to access the materials, which is  In these instances, you can just copy the prefix above and then add the url of the resource and presto a permanent link.
