David Munnelly Irish Band to perform at Artist and Lecture Series

Baldwin City, Kan. — The Baker University Artist and Lecture Series will be host to the David Munnelly Irish Band at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Rice Auditorium on the Baldwin City campus.

The band has received critical acclaim for blending traditional Celtic sounds and notes inspired by 1920s and ’30s Irish artists.

Hailing from Ireland, the David Munnelly Irish Band has been touring internationally since 2000 and has performed at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield. Munnelly received the 2005 Composer of the Year Award.
