BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University bowling team picked up another Top 10 finish last week at the Blue and Gold Classic hosted by the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., with its seventh place finish out of 52 teams.

The Wildcats bowled nine team games and raised their team average to 959 per game.

Senior Caitlin Campbell led the Wildcats with a 6th-place individual finish competing against 338 bowlers in the field.

Fellow senior Amanda Sams bowled her highest game ever in competition with a 268, while freshman Tessa Booth came off the bench to secure the 7th-place team finish.

Sophomore Shaley Epperson had a great showing with her first tournament back after knee surgery took her out of competition in October.

The Wildcats next tournament will take place on Feb. 2 and 3 in Fairview Heights, Ill., at the McKendree Baker Challenge.
