Wildcats Fall at Culver-Stockton

CANTON, Mo. – The Baker University men's basketball team dropped an overtime heartbreaker at Culver-Stockton College, 88-75, on Saturday to fall to 9-6 overall and 2-3 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

With the victory, CSC kept its perfect record in the HAAC at 5-0 and improved its overall record to 14-3.

The CSC Wildcats have won 10 of its last 12 games and outrebounded Baker 48-36 and outscored Baker, 14-1 on second chance points.

Five Wildcats scored in double figures for CSC including Alan Hadzimahovic who scored a game high 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Three Baker Wildcats scored in double figures including team leader Ben Steinlage with 15, Chris Lockhart with 14 and Jordan Honore finished with 12.

Steinlage also had a double-double with his 11 rebounds and shot 50-percent from the field, shooting 7-of-14.

Culver Stockton took over half of it shots from beyond the three-point line, shooting 13-of-38, for a shooting percentage of 34.2-percent.

The Wildcats will return to action this Thursday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. against rival MidAmerica Nazarene at the Collins Center.
