If you’re an 11th grader from one of these counties—Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte (MO), Johnson, or Wyandotte (KS)—you may qualify for a traditional KC Scholars scholarship. This program is designed for students from low- or modest‑income households who are ready to take the next step toward college.

What the Scholarship Covers
You can earn up to $50,000 in scholarship support over six years. Funds are sent directly to the college or university where you enroll.

This one‑time savings match program is designed for 9th graders. Through the application process, 250 students will receive:
