87th Annual Vespers scheduled for Dec. 3

Baker University’s 87th annual Christmas Candlelight Vespers is scheduled for 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, at Rice Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.

This year’s production will feature the Concert Choir presenting selections from the Christmas portion of the Messiah by George Frideric Handel. Performing solos will be Baker voice faculty members Marci Ziegler, associate professor of music, and Dr. Ryan Olsen, director of choral ensembles.

The audience will be invited to sing favorite carols with the Brass Ensemble.

Baker University vocal ensembles performing are Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and University Community Choir. Instrumental ensembles are Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, and Trombone Choir.
