About Baker
Throughout Baker University’s history, we have introduced programs to serve the changing needs of students.
In the fall of 2015, the Higher Learning Commission approved the online Master of Science in Nursing program, which offers practicing nurses the opportunity to shape the next generation of health care professionals. Graduates are prepared to pursue careers in nursing education and nursing administration.

PRENURSING
Complete your prerequisites at Baker’s Baldwin City campus.
Students complete 62 hours of prerequisites on Baker’s Baldwin City campus while working closely with a prenursing advisor, then they complete their two-year professional program at Stormont Vail Health in Topeka. Students who complete their prerequisite work at Baker with a minimum 3.0 GPA are given preference in admissions selections. Learn more about Baker’s prenursing program.

Baker’s robust online MSN curriculum integrates advanced nursing theory with evidence-based nursing practices. Graduates will apply these skills to careers in nursing education and nursing administration.
