Commencement for Baldwin City undergraduates May 20

Baker University will honor graduates of bachelor’s degree programs of its College of Arts and Sciences, School of Nursing, and School of Education with a commencement ceremony at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, at the Collins Center on the Baldwin City campus.

New York Times best-selling author Candice Millard will deliver the keynote address. A 1989 graduate of Baker, Millard has written three books that have appeared on the NYT bestseller list. Her work as a writer and journalist has also appeared in the New York Times Book Review, Washington Post Book World, the Guardian, National Geographic, and Time magazine. Millard received the 2017 BIO Award from the Biographers International Organization for her contributions to advancing the art and craft of biography.
