BALDWIN CITY, KANSAS — Anyone who saw, December student leader, sophomore Logan Brettell throw six touchdown passes in Baker University’s win over No. 17 Point University in the 2015 NAIA FCS Playoffs knows he has a knack for rallying his peers. That quality is not exclusive to the football field, though, as Brettell’s campuswide involvement earned him Baker’s Student Leader of the Month honor for December.

An Overland Park native and graduate of Blue Valley High School, Brettell is integral to recruitment efforts for Delta Tau Delta fraternity and helping new students acclimate to life at Baker as an orientation leader.

As his nominator for Student Leader of the Month noted, “Logan is an energetic orientation leader, on the player’s council for the football team and the corecruitment chair for Delta Tau Delta, which just ushered in 23 new members (the most of any fraternity on campus). Logan is on the frontline of making sure that new students at Baker feel confident and comfortable in a new environment that can be scary for freshman, as well as keeping above a 3.5 GPA, making him a leader in the classroom, on the field, and in the Greek community.”
