The bachelor’s curriculum is firmly based in the arts and sciences, so students develop the communication skills to express ideas clearly and the creativity and critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in the challenging and rewarding field of education. Students can earn specializations in general elementary (K-6), three areas specific to the middle level (5-8), and 11 areas of licensure at the secondary level (6-12).
