This seven-week graduate-level course helps educators rethink traditional grading methods by exploring Standards-Based Grading (SBG) and Competency-Based Assessment (CBA). Participants will examine research-based grading models, align assessments with learning standards, and develop strategies for effective implementation. Through readings, videos, discussions, and hands-on projects, teachers will learn how to create more equitable, transparent, and meaningful grading systems.
