Teaching Mental Toughness and GRIT in Students

Monday, June 22 - Sunday, August 9
$450

This course will ask you to analyze your current classroom of students and determine which students are gritty and which are not. What are some things causing students to easily give up when things get tough or others to preserve through the hard times in school and in life? Do some students just have a naturally gritty personality where others do not, or is grit something that can be taught? We will explore ways to teach GRIT in your classes and how to help the gritty students continue to thrive and the non-gritty students learn to be gritty. Videos and reflections by the student and peers will be used to help build a classroom environment where students preserve through the tough times.
