This course is designed for educators to learn more about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD.) Autism is the fastest growing serious development disability. In the United States, 1 in 68 children is diagnosed with ASD. Learn about characteristics and signs of Autism in childhood, as well as techniques and interventions to help in working with children on the spectrum. Topics explored include: • Signs & Characteristics of Autism • What is stimming • Setting up a sensory friendly environment • Communication with children on the spectrum
