Marching Festival

Baker University and the Baker University Bands will host the annual Baker University 1A-5A Marching Band Festival at Liston Stadium on the Baker University campus. The Baker University Band Department and Meyer Music will sponsor this year’s festival.

Marching bands, color guards, and drum lines are invited to participate in this KSHSAA-approved event for KSHSAA member schools only. Each ensemble will receive a rating and comments from each judge. The Jeremy Frye Grand Championship Trophy will be awarded to the highest-scoring band in the festival. Ensembles may choose to participate for “comments only” and receive no rating.

The festival will consist of two sessions:

  • Afternoon 1:15 – 5:30 p.m.
  • Evening 6 – 8:30 p.m.

Registration

Register by September 15

Each director will receive an official Marching Band Festival packet (schedule, map, and so on) one to two weeks before the festival.

Entry fees:

  • Marching band $175
  • Color guard $75
  • Drum line $75

Entry fees are not refundable after deadline date.

Free to all spectators. Bring a friend!
