Alpha Mu Gamma is an honor society for students of world language. Members work to promote cultural understanding and celebrate international diversity with events such as international dance lessons and student presentations on study abroad experiences. Members have opportunities to apply for a variety of scholarships and to take part in several national and international events.

To be eligible, students must have completed at least two world language courses and have a GPA of at least 3.0, including two grades of A in college-level world language courses. Non-native speakers of English must have two grades of A in college-level English courses. New members are inducted once a year, during the spring semester.
