Top-ranked Kansas university by College Choice

Baldwin City, Kan. — Baker University was the top-ranked Kansas university in the 2015 Rankings of Midwestern Regional Universities by College Choice, an independent online publication dedicated to helping students and their families find the right college. Baker was listed 41st in the Midwest.

The rankings are based exclusively on factors actual college freshmen said were most important to their college decision. According to the most recent nationwide survey published by the Higher Education Research Institute at UCLA, the factors included academic reputation, financial aid offerings, overall cost and success of graduates in the post-college job market. Each of the factors were weighted equally in the ranking and data was derived from a variety of publicly available sources, including U.S. News & World Report, the National Center for Education Statistics and PayScale.

According to its website, College Choice publishes rankings and reviews that make choosing the best college easier, as well as resources to help students get into, pay for, and thrive at the college of their choice.
