Nursing Process, an organization that collects data on nursing education and health care careers, has ranked Baker University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program first in Kansas.

Nursing programs were assessed on the following criteria:

  • Average NCLEX, the licensing exam for nurses, first-time pass rates over the past five years
  • Academic quality based on enrollment, graduation, and retention rates
  • NursingProcess.org editorial staff ratings and nursing school reputation

Founded in 1991, Baker University School of Nursing is known for producing the best and brightest nurses in the region. Baker partners with Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, Kansas, to offer students a robust curriculum. This partnership creates immersive student experiences, including clinical work, simulation labs, first-hand observations, and international service opportunities. Students gain skills that make them job candidates even before graduation. The School of Nursing also offers an online Master of Science in Nursing, and an ADN to MSN bridge program.
